i think it would help but still be hard. i couldent imagine living in england. one old english man told me bloody foreigner :S

Palio, I like many many things about CY and its people. I love the fact that some families dont finish their homes off. (let me finish  ) When I see a house with spikes on the roof. In UK we don't help families likes that. Indian culture is very similair too.

Have you (or any of your friends) told some who is not Cyp that they are a bloody foreigner? :) I don;t care where anyone is from if they give me respect..

yes i did make comments with friends how cyprus is filling with foreigners and there is no original cypritos left lol

but i do like some things about england like electronic you guys get them faster malls that are rally malls. some nice places to go see very different night life.. but its nice. its just that i am not used to it

Lol.....you and your electronics!

UK is alot worst for foreigners than CY and the amount of foreigners in UK is really starting to effect now. Jobs are given to the foriegner in UK ahead of UK person because they are cheaper to employ. Most CYP people would give a job to their own people first.

At least the English in Cyprus have their own money and dont get benefits from the government there. Foreigners coming to UK get given houses and other benefits which tax payer pays....it really f**ks me off

yes me and my electronics :D love them. i buy mostly from england. and the malls are huge not like the two shops we have in our malls.. bars clubs restorants are nice to. and friendly people.. apart from the few that calld me bloody foreigner :@ haha

polish and russians who will work for cheaper take your jobs in the uk and send the money back to their country.

i guess in cyprus it is also hard to find work if you try find an employer rather then start your own business.
i imagine its harder to get visas for england then cyprus.

They give out work permits - no problems. Then give you a house!

No, if you still have the "spikes" sticking out of the roof you can say you are still building and don't have to pay fees for completing your property.

My house has been like that since we built it in 1974 and the title deeds for the land just mention an "illegal construction" on the site!

Can u explain this? I don't believe a foreigner can just come to England and the gov't will help. If so, they are legally in England.

Well first post that someone posted isn't working. Well Cyprus should be compared to other European countries. I think it has come far in recent years actually, but they can greatly improve in customer service though.
