These posts asking "where can I buy x in Cyprus" make me laugh! Visit the bloody shops or find what you want on the internet and ask the manufacturer who has the agency here! I have done the second thing very successfully on a number of occasions.

well CBBB has a point. At this very moment if you sit your ass down on google to search, you will find it in 10-30 minutes.

given the fact that almost no business`s here in cyprus have no websites, i find that hard to believe.
i was mearly asking the members of the forum if they knew of anyware that sold a thermocupler, my god what is the problem, have you people never asked for help before? yes i can find a website that sells these things then wait for probably 3 weeks for it to arrive, but i was rather hoping i could get one a little quicker.you lot of "victor meldrews" are about as helpful as the chap who i bought the gas fire from, who suggested i throw away the fire and purchase a new one from him.
all that said: merry xmas

Quite right Its Me.

Of course we can goggle for almost all our needs, but this is the chat section of our beloved forum and there must always be space and tolerance for people to chat about products and services, and where fellow forumers may wish to have a constructive input.

maybe try any electrical shop, even if they sell stuff like washing machines etc.
i purchased one of those heaters of which you put kerosene (oops spelling) and it used to cost me about 2 euros per day and gave off a lovely heat in the whole room!
thats maybe what you want.
