No such agreement exists. If you don’t get something in writing you haven’t got jack shit!

TC dialect…

How a garbled debate on TC dialect became a "fact" for GCs as if TC dialect was banned...

A foreigner called Tim D contributed a lot for the creation of this "fact"(read as myth) for GCs! He is the real partitionist!

My 15 minutes of fame, no less.

PS

In the thread
http://www.cyprus-forum.com/viewtopic.php?t=26768
which I chose to entitle:
Turkish Cypriot dialect under official attack
(i.e. not 'banned'),
I chided a contributor who went as far to speak of a ban with the admonition:

"Not quite true. It was a recommendation, not an official ban. In my view they were 'flying a kite', i.e. using this official body (which incidentally styles itself as the 'Supreme Broadcasting Board’ on its own website) as a channel through which to air a potentially controversial peice of legislation to see what kind of reaction it would provoke. It is clear from the way Eroglu distanced himself from this proposal that the time is not yet felt ripe to ratchet up 'cultural genocide' to this level."

Gift wrapped with a bow in time for Christmas.

A simple, yet fatal mistake by someone who claims to have the mental capacity to address supposedly complex problems. Bring your niece and nephew in, Acikgoz, because you can't handle it.

Why indulge in your cheap sophistry and make you look good when I can just shove some hard facts in your face and make you run away!

Btw, don't come back...

It's made my Christmas already. And I haven't unwrapped my presents yet. "Self-imposed isolation" indeed. I think the message is starting to get through...

It was a huge mistake when the Illegal Regime banned IKEA. Never mess with peoples' consumerist aspirations for self-assembly Scandinavian furniture.

Def the beginning of the end for the Tnucland Regime.

EU had agreed to end isolation on TRNC and UN voiced similar wishes - GCs objected and continue to do so.
If opportunity continues to remain limited due to isolation and GCs constant objection to opening borders between TRNC and rest of the world then who do you accuse? It's the economy STUPID.

DT, get the Greek Cypriots to set up a property commission for TCs with land in South then feel confident in taking the high ground. Give me a choice with what to do with my land there!

GR, pointless as usual.

Where does it actually say self imposed in the original post?
