Engage brain before tapping fingers on keyboard, take a swipe whatever it makes you look like. You again can be accused for contributing rubbish over stubstance.

Its not that what goes on in the occupied areas matters so much for us, its just that while you illegally hold onto GC land then there's bound to be a lot of schadenfreude around.

Isn't it about time the TCs stopped blaming Greeks for their predicament? It isn't G/Cs who occupy the north of the island in defiance of international law. It isn't G/Cs who are bringing in Anatolian settlers. It isn't G/Cs who are banning the T/C dialect. It isn't G/Cs who have kept the island separated for the last 35 years. It isn't G/Cs who have ruined the northern economy, sold the property of the original owners and brought the weight of international law crashing down on the T/Cs heads. You've done it all yourselves in the last 35 years. Greek Cypriots have just let you get on with it: isolation, economic ruin, cultural eradication and mass emigration. Even the most fanatical Greek nationalist couldn't have inflicted such a disaster on the Turkish Cypriots. Nice work. So keep on blaming the Greeks. Pretty soon, there'll be no T/Cs left in the north and you'll wonder how it happened. No doubt the Greeks did it.

Perhaps the fact that Turkey (with the TC treasonous blessings) is illegally occupying 37% of our territory has something to do with it…

If you still need more substance insert head in anus.

How a garbled debate on TC dialect became a "fact" for GCs as if TC dialect was banned...

A foreigner called Tim D contributed a lot for the creation of this "fact"(read as myth) for GCs! He is the real partitionist!

We can only go by what dozens of newspaper articles had simultaneously posted, and by Halil's confession; who happens to be working for a TV station.

So, if you know otherwise then you’ll have to disprove it with evidence not just your word!

Hermes, pls follow the real logic:
No.1 cause of brain drain in TRNC is due to lack of opportunity caused by isolation.
EU had agreed to end isolation on TRNC and UN voiced similar wishes - GCs objected and continue to do so.
If opportunity continues to remain limited due to isolation and GCs constant objection to opening borders between TRNC and rest of the world then who do you accuse? It's the economy STUPID.

DT, get the Greek Cypriots to set up a property commission for TCs with land in South then feel confident in taking the high ground. Give me a choice with what to do with my land there!

GR, pointless as usual.

If the “state” TV station (Bayrak) makes such an announcement what could you have possibly posted to refute it?

Show me where you managed that!

Wakey wakey...

Have Turkish Cypriots lost land/property on Cyprus?

The RoC did the right thing decades ago when they established the “Turkish Cypriot properties Management Service” thereby securing TC property ownership on Cyprus…

http://www.moi.gov.cy/moi/citizenschart ... enDocument

With only a very small number of cases whereby the government took over some TC land/properties (as in the case of one out of two plots of TC land on the edge of the Larnaca airport) under “Obligatory Expropriation Law”...

Obligatory Expropriation Law #15/62
(In Greek: Περί Αναγκαστικής Απαλλοτρίωσης Νόμου Αρ. 15/62)

http://www.moi.gov.cy/moi/citizenschart ... enDocument

In which case, reimbursement/compensation is based on (1) the current value of the land/property being expropriated, (2) plus 9% interest from the date of notice of the intent, (3) plus any damages incurred as a result of the expropriation.
