Start-Ups in Cyprus

Postby Flying Dutchman » Sat Dec 19, 2009 3:11 pm

Hello Everyone,

We, a young Dutch couple, are visiting Cyprus from 1 until 12 january.
We have plans to relocate to Cyprus, we 're thinking of starting an own business. We are not looking for investors!!!

Anyone suggestions?
What are the niche-markets overhere?

Thank in advance.

Hello Z4 professor, I cannot PM you yet as I am new to the forum.

I understand that there is no such thing as a free Lunch...
But I don 't need any businessplan but just a direction of friendly Cypriotic people or expats..

I'd ignore Z4 and his string of failed businesses...

Come over and have a look round... the problem is that Cypriot businesses don't take kindly to competition...

Boom boxes and straight through exhausts would sell well to the children. You could then sell designer ear defenders to the adults.

Seriously though as Grump says it is not easy even if you speak Greek.

How about exclusive Dutch products? :)

Aside from flowers which are a nightmare to deal with, what else does your country have that is unique?
