I understand that there is no such thing as a free Lunch...
But I don 't need any businessplan but just a direction of friendly Cypriotic people or expats..
I'd ignore Z4 and his string of failed businesses...
Come over and have a look round... the problem is that Cypriot businesses don't take kindly to competition...

I think a business focusing on making Dutch tourists comfortable would do well as I consider that most tourist operators are too focused on the budget UK market. Having an all Dutch focus would be something your competition could not cope with.If you use your contacts in the Netherlands to funnel Dutch tourist straight to your businesses would leave the local UK focused amateurs scratching their heads.
Cyprus is mountainous and Hilly in parts but there are no scenic cable cars. I think this would be a good business with no competition in an area like the Troodos mountains and the surrounding forest and hill villages. In Australia where I now live a scenic cable car operation was awarded "Tourist operator of the year" last year.
You may also consider green engineering projects especially water conservation and management projects. Maybe waste water recycling projects. Water is gold in Cyprus.I find the design of houses in Cyprus to be very primitive- Simple water collection through gutters and water tanks if properly promoted would do well. I suspect the best way to do this is to grease the palm of a politician to make these water saving products compulsory on new homes.
In antiquity Cyprus was thickly forested. You may have the brains and inclination to coordinate green EU grants for a pine plantation. This is a long term project but well worth looking at. Pine in Cyprus would absorb carbon faster than almost anywhere else in the EU.
