The bash patriots, paliometocho, the bash patriots. The more patriotic they sound the more damage they can do.

How about you just accept the fact that everyone exercised their democratic right when voting NO. All 76% decided that the Annan Plan was not in their interest.

Even some leading Australian academics have described the RoC constitution as one of the worst in the world and unacceptable in their own country. So what's the difference?

Definitely. However, there are similar folk in the TRNC. There would probably have to be some cessions of TRNC territory to RoCy in a final settlement (from the current 37% to around 25% of the island). That would be a rather bitter pill for some TRNC folk to swallow, despite the fact that the 37% was originally captured with the intent of using some territory as a bargaining chip.

With all due respect, Paphitis, when I no longer see the TRNC Flag flying over it, then I'll agree with your statement.

The Turkish and Greek Cypriot youths do not believe that a “federation” is the best solution for the Cyprus problem.

Results of a survey, carried out by the UNDP-ACT in cooperation with the University of Nicosia in South Cyprus and the Cyprus Social and Economic Research Centre KADEM, were announced yesterday.

According to the survey, 41% of Turkish youth believes that a two-state solution will be the best way to settle the Cyprus problem whilst 30% of Greek Cypriots did so.

This reflects a 20% rise in the number of Greek Cypriots and a 18% rise in the number of Turkish Cypriots supporting a two-state solution compared to the survey carried out between November 2007 and March 2008.

The percentage of those supporting a federation is very low.

Only 4% of Turkish youth is in support of a federation whilst 20% of Greek Cypriots did so.

The number of those supporting a confederation is also very low.
Just 6% of Turks believe that a confederation is the best solution to the Cyprus question whilst 5% of Greek Cypriots did so.

26% of Turkish youth and 9% of Greek Cypriot youth said they thought the continuation of the current situation would be the best solution to settle the Cyprus issue.

The survey also contained questions on national identity, the European Union, religion and health.

anybody knows what was the results for above . :!:

It's not the moon you know. Sticking a flag somewhere doesn't make land yours just by the "law of bagsy" The place has legally recognised owners who are taking the thieves to court.

No one recognizes that flag, because our ownership is indisputable.

And you are being very antagonizing.

But rest assured, that your flag is only temporary as it can never be recognized!

You will have your war if that's what you want.
