Ignore this "Bluelagoon" he is full of the brown stuff. As you can tell from his post, if he had lived in Vancouver he would surely know how to spell it.

Why do I get the impression that very few members are Cypriots, born and raised here. I can tell by the way they post that the traditional Cypriot attitude is missing... good or bad.
For sure many members are from all 4 corners of the earth but even in written comments, one can tell of a Brit accent rather than North American.

Is it a fact only a few Cypriots participate in forums like this? I base this assumption on the given fact that Cypriots exchange ideas, views or opinions at the local coffee shop, on the street or some place else instead of siting in front of a computer typing what they want to say?

I left Cyprus 30 years ago, things change... I've been wrong before many times... am I wrong again?

Thanks for your comments.
There are a few North American members. Can think of at least half-a-dozen regular posters.
Who are the other North American members here besides Kristyn?

Well georgios100, there's not a lot of North Americans here just because of the mere proximity. I have been in Cyprus for nearly 5 months and have not met anyone here from North America.

there's some of us local cypriots as well here. Cafe's are a big (cliched) part of life here. Most discussion will happen at starbucks these days and it won't be about the cyprob. Personally I'm just here to make sure no one bad mouths APOEL.

Oh, and we've had a certain escaped mental patient which we're trying to pinpoint by using his IP. If you see any posts of someone called GetReal! you're to tell admin IMMEDIATELY. He's a highly dangerous individual with a fetish for reptiles. Although you may find that funny I assure you it is not. The populations of kourkoutades and chamolious has been dwindling in the SE parts of Nicosia. :(

"kourkoutades" now that word confirms that this APOEL fan is 100% Cypriot, thank you!
Who is this "GetReal" guy?Friend of yours perhaps? He should be banned from the board for crimes - cruelty to animals!
As for the reptile population status, I must confess that when I visited Cyprus last year, the species of shelendrounes and micharous were thriving... not to mention the myriad of koutsoukoutes and akkannomouttes(AKA chamelions) roaming around.
I may be banned from the board myself now, since I am violating the rules about using only the English language to post... mods-show mercy please!
