I have two friends mr and mrs G whos son goes to school with my son.
My little boy has been talking so much about xmas as of course he is so excited.
mr and mrs G's little boy wont talk about it as he isnt allowed and has left my son somewhat confused.
well ive learnt they are J.witnesses.
does anyone actually understand why they are not allowed to celerbrate xmas :?

You are correct Get Real that is why
I grew up as a J Witness...........stopped celebrating X-mas when I was 7.

I am not a J Witness now, but that is how i was raised.

No they do not

First JW's do not celebrate birthdays at all.

Second JW's beleive that Jesus's birth was not in December.

yes they do, I have family that are JW

Also Christmas, so you know, is indeed on the 7th January. 25th of December was a pagan holiday and was much easier to celebrate on that day. Please get you facts right before you start posting.
