Just what did you expect, you come onto a Cyprus forum to Criticise the very country you want to study and work in to a majority audiance of GCs and you expect to get sympathy.
Come on be honest with yourself, you didn't manage to get to stay and thats why you are complaining, right?
The encouragement you may have had was from non-cypriots, except from Bana who is a Turk.
Just go home and take the message with you, no good trying to con your way into Cyprus, they are switched on over there.
Good evening
Yes B25 I,m a Brit who thankfully knows many of the switched on Cypriots who detest what some are trying to do with the foriegn newcomers to Cyprus. Give it a few more years......Cyprus already has 10% of its populace as foriegn (more than the UK) soon we will equal the local population and bring all our nasty habits with us. Don,t go back Sinbad bring ALL your friends with you hahahahahahahahaha
Welcome to Cyprus!!! Thankfully these extreme views are in the minority unlike the UK at the moment who have a real downer on immigrants.
Do what we do ignore and smile!!! Who cares what a few do, in fact live here long enough and you start doing the very same things.
Actually joking apart Cyprus is really really good to live in and we have found a quality of life not experienced before and we work, but I wonder IF its the same for younger people, do they want to stay anymore, I know a couple of young Cypriots who are in the UK in Uni and don,t want to return. Why, maybe because there is not enough jobs to go around and that foriegners are then seen as taking these jobs, although in the main they are menial and they would,nt do them anyway.
Our business in the UK eventually ending up unable to get UK employees (too many on benefits and basically lazy)and we had foriegn legit workers mostly polish and portugese, who were in the main much better workers than the lot we had in the past.
