A Corvette from the fifties would be my choice though....
Besides an MX5 or Miata I think you call them in the States is so much fun....
Smooth flowing curves, stunning to look at whether top on or off, throws you about all over the place yet keeps you snug inside, yet grips to the roads like nails in your back, gives you the ride of your life, admired by many... and actually not that expensive to keep if you know how to treat them!!
And the cars not bad either!!!
