A dream-car for me... super smooth supercharged V8, seats for five plus luggage, comfortable, easy to drive, all mod cons - sat nav, climate control, etc.

But put the auto box in 'Sport' mode and it was out of this world. turn the traction control off in the wet and it was a killer...

I thought my Mitsubishi 3000GT was the best car in the world until I got behind the wheel of the XJR...

So, Frag, which supercars have you owned...?

Lovely cars Grump.. class, grace and pace... I had a XK8 back in UK, dark burgundy metallic with cream leather.. beautiful car until someone decided to knife the soft top!! £3,500 for a new one... just the insurance for the roof was an extra £400 a year!!!... Used to have a Spitfire.. (loved it), TR6.. (loved that too  ) and a rather tweeked Morgan +8 (Loved showing the boy racers what a real car should sound and go like  )...

The closest thing to a 60's lotus elan with reliability!!!

I sold my TR6 (and the XJR) before I came out here...

The XJR would have been wasted here but (with hindsight) i should have kept the TR6...

Now I just have the Pajero and the Fazer....

Like you I loved the TR6 too.. a real sports car.. not the easiest to drive but such a grin factor!!! :D
Fazer... nice bike.. I had a CBR600RR.. great fun but dangerous on UK roads..

I have owned many sports cars, now I drive like a little old lady on her way to collect her pension :-(

Oh dear, oh dear Lana... :x

Fragnatic breath will be along in a minute to attack you for being 'an arrogant prick'....

Or perhaps that is just me...

..and I own the fastest laptop on the block LOL! Quad processor, 1,000 GB HDD, 18" HD Screen, Blu-ray etc. etc. Clearly, I have been going wrong all my life...is there no hope for me :-(

And yes, it did cost more than €1000!

Can I have it for my Christmas present, please. :D

Hi Yialoser

I was wondering what to get you for your Christmas gift, so here it is:

Okay so I'll have to go with the XJR, but unfortunately I couldn't pay the ridiculous tax the communist government here requires. If I were Stateside though the Corvette would be my machine, cheap, lots of brute horsepower. Phil are we still on for my hair appointment? ;)

I'm loving it!

Spend a lot of time in the mountains - clear roads, no traffic - many have recently been re-surfaced (EU money?). 200Kph on a smooth road with no traffic, sunshine, hot, grippy tyres... lovely.

In towns you have to have your wits about you - I took the dB killers out of my pipes and modified the headlights - gets more attention.

I'd recommend it...
