Accusations of Atrocities

Postby Expatkiwi » Sun Dec 13, 2009 8:05 am

On a previous thread, I made an inquiry about a place in North Nicosia called "The Museum of Barbarism". From certain forum folk, I got evasions and counter-accusations. But this quote from Paphitis got my attention:

Paphitis wrote:Listen here mate, no one is denying that there were victims on both sides, but you need to look back and objectively look at who instigated and who started the inter-communal violence in the first place, and then ask yourself WHY!

I have read enough about the finger-pointing from both sides as to who started the Cyprus Problem, but regardess of who started it, innocents on both sides suffered, and the enuring bitterness over these 'events' is what is keeping the Cyprus Problem from being resolved.

I made a QUERY, in which I asked for an explanation. Don't try and twist my words, Boomerang.

So are you saying that who started it is not important? Then maybe the Nazis should be equated with the Allies? After all the Germans lost millions of people during WWII!!

A lot of non-Nazi Germans did die, Sotos.

In any case, I'm still getting counter-accustations and evasions! I queried about the Museum of Barbarism, and the killings in Agios Sozomenos and Agios Vasilios. CAN ANYONE GIVE ME ANY SOLID REBUTTAL to these accusations made by the Turkish Cypriots?!!

you want a rebuttal,?...that means you presented an argument...what you presented was hearsay...

here it is again expat, eyewitness account...look for it...read it...and make sure you understand it...then you ask for a rebuttal...not the otherway around...

One more reason why we should blame the Allies and call them criminals ... if we go by your way of thinking!

Why are 2 cases more important than the 30.000 people minimum that the Turks killed in Cyprus so far? The life of Turks worth more?

rebuttal to exactly what expat?...here is one...how come in all the readings you read there is no mention of the eyewitness testimony...how come you never knew about the eyewitness testimony...who has more to gain by leaving the eyewitness testimony out of every story you read?...

why is that expat...

now look for the eyewitness account...
