Accusations of Atrocities

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby Bananiot » Sun Dec 20, 2009 1:41 pm

A very touching story by Sevgul in today's "Politis". She describes how a 23 years old Greek Cypriot working at the Nicosia International Airport, conned and killed a Turkish Cypriot co worker of his (Mustafa Ali) of the same age (just for being TC) and threw the corpse into a well (usual practice back then). The Greek Cypriot was a church goer who never repented for his crime but instead boasted for it to his friends.

This year, the Greek Cypriot was struck by cancer and his was visited at his death bed in Nicosia General Hospital by a Greek Cypriot who wanted to help the family of the murdered TC to find out where the remains of their missing relative were. The brother of the murdered TC also went along but did not disclose his identity.

The terminally ill GC showed no sign of repentance, even when he was facing death, but he did point out the exact spot where he disposed of the body. From then on, the Commission of the missing persons took over the case and searched the well where the remains were eventually found and returned to the family for proper burial, 46 years after he was murdered.

The murderer, died shortly after he disclosed the location of the well.

Bananiot
A very sad and poignant story. It is beyond me how anyone can hate another human being just for being from another ethnic group.

the Kiwi Man's / honour rating is still stuck at zero.

You can't pass your speedometer as an honourometer old boy. The reults at the Lurucadi Honorometer station was sufficient grounds for the grantation of such an honouration.

So 3 state solution it will be.

I think that may be Bananiot's simplistic, biased, politically-motivated interpretation of one side of what was really going on during the Turk-TCs' fight for the partition of our island; designed since the 50s (at least), and the end-result now a stark reality for the few GCs who did not believe Turkey had any real premeditated designs on Cyprus ....

No matter how many one-sided stories you post Bananiot, the FACT still remains that during July and August of 1974, the end result was…

Greek Cypriot casualties: 5,000 odd.

Turkish Cypriot casualties: 200 odd.

So you’re really talking about a drop in the ocean here…

Thats ODD.

I thought there would be a distinction here between the actions of an advancing army and individual murders.

Be more precise with your data GR.

Bananiot, sees fit to bring up a story about one guy dumping another in a well when almost every week we get reports and video on the news showing DOZENS of Greek Cypriots being brought out of wells all over the “TRNC”!

Go figure...

 I've been found out. It was indeed a speedometer. And it's detected that you're on speed.

You have just passed with flying colours the test of being Horakillised.
But I am not accusing you of being a lady of the night from Lesbo Island am I.
Judging by how many posts I have posted, I would reverse the polarity of this here speedmeter cause it's giving you reverse results, unless of course you are on them, and you are contaminating the said evidence before us. But than again, as this is cyprus forum not that different to Cyprus courts, no evidence required.
TC guilty. GC not guilty announced by the good learned GC judgeo bastardo, just before the GC asks for his speed back.
