No we wasn't allowed to. Before the play started the Head Teacher asked us not to record it and if we took pictures to please not put them on any internet site (i.e Facebook). What a sad world we live in when you cannot even record your childrens plays.

I know how you feel as a grandparent - not that I ever thought you were ever close to that age. Tomorrow is our turn. Going to watch our 8 year old grand daughter.
Last year we went tou the elder granddaughters play and no such announcements were made.........and it was a Catholic School (St. Monica's Southgate. I even filmed it. I suppose it is up to individual Headteachers.
I dont know what surprises await us. Lets see.
