The whole occupied Cyprus and Turkey is a Museum of Barbarism. Sotos, Please! I'm trying to get to the truth here! You and so many others are deriding me for not seeing the truth. So when I see a reference to a place where Turkish Cypriot civilians were murdered by Greek Cypriot paramilataries, what am I supposed to think?

Far more Cypriot civilians were killed by the multiple Turkish invasions against our island and by their Settlers. None of these would have happened if not for the aggression and expansionism of Turks against our island. It is them that keep invading our island, keep murdering Cypriots, keep stealing our lands and keep importing Settlers to our island. We are not the ones who invaded Turkey. If it wasn't for the Turkish aggression and expansionism there would be no Turks in Cyprus and therefore no killings and no problems.

All right, Boomerang. Here is what I found with a quick internet search. This is what LONELY PLANET has to say on the subject:

While the Turkish Cypriots may have taken down the gruesome posters and photographs that used to greet arrivals at the Ledra Palace Hotel crossing, they have not forgotten the atrocities committed by Greek Cypriots and in particular EOKA thugs against the Turkish Cypriot community. The Museum of Barbarism is in a quiet suburb to the west of the Old City and takes a bit of seeking out.

On 24 December 1963, a mother and her children, along with a neighbour, were shot dead in their bath by EOKA gunmen. The bloodstained bath is retained as one of the exhibits in this rather macabre museum. There are other photo-documentary displays, particularly of Turkish Cypriots murdered in the villages of Agios Sozomenos and Agios Vasilios.

This is the house if Dr. Ilhat Ilhan, a major who was serving in the Cyprus Turkish contingent in 1963. During the intercommunal struggles of December that year, the house was attacked by the Greek Cypriot terrorists. Dr. Ilhan's wife and three children were ruthlessly murdered in the bathroom where they tried to hide. The house, in the Kumsal district of Nicosia has been presevered as a museum.

These references included pictures of the slain mother and children.

And what of the claims regarding Turkish Cypriot civilians killed in the villages of Agios Sozomenos and Agios Vasilios?

What about the hundreds of GCs that were killed by TMT? What about the attacks on CYPOL vehicles on the Nicosia to Limassol highway.

What about the 7 GC prisoners who were released by the British in a TMT controlled area and murdered in 1958!

Furthermore, Dr. Ilhan was probably killed by the TMT, so do your research and then we can talk.

There were many people present in Dr. Ilhan's house during the time of the murders.

Who were they, and why were they not killed?

Like you said, people on both sides were victims. I'm not going to deny that there were hotheads on the Turkish side who did commit crimes, but I am asking about the TC Claims and if there is any basis to them. Also, this "probably killed by the TMT" is not what one could call conclusive...

I'm basing this claim on what has been made public. Your question is like asking me to personally substantiate the existance of atoms. Since I can't see them, I can't substatiate it. I can only get book references.
