Postby halil » Fri Dec 11, 2009 8:59 pm

TC man from Dali village agreed with his GC villager friend to sell his property . He has been asked to pay 12193 Cyprus pound Tax for his property. He paid the amount to tax offices of ROC.When he went to land register office to transfer his kochan to GC friend he has been told that he can not do it because his property is under the protection of TC's properties board .
Now Mr Ibrahim is plannig to open a case against to ROC at ECHR....

Where is all our brave patriots who go on and on about how the TRNC does not allow them to do what ever they wish with their kotchans. Well perhaps while they are shaped in a cylindrical shape, they can tie a red ribbon around them and use them for other purposes.
Enjoy it ladies and gentleman.

OH ... Another surname of "Kemal" runaway will have a seizure.

If he owed taxes, that's a different issue.

Sounds like he was trying to avoid the 6 months establishing ownership rule so that the RoC won't be accused of not looking after the TCs properties and allowing them to be sold off by any Tom, Dick and Kemal relative pretending it's his.

Good luck, but even with this flimsy reporting, it doesn't sound like he should be complaining ....

Yfred we al know thats how it would be for TCs in a GC administered united Cyprus, we should all take note of what they are capable of, which if you read todays Kıbrıs about trade accross the border its disgusting and brings home the real dangers of trusting these people.

That’s right… freeze all TC properties until Turkey abides by international law.

I see no reason why TCs should have access to their property while 185,000 GCs do not and cannot!

Fair's Fair! :D

Btw, one by one I’d like to see ALL Turkish Cypriot privileges removed including employment, medicare, study subsidies, and everything else.

Our displeasure with their parlaying with Turkey should be strongly felt from 2010 onwards.
