Simply we recognize the "trnc" and accept partition. Is this what we want ? Like a hole in the head.
The ROC will meet its legal commitments to all its citizens irrespective whether they live in the occupied parts of the island or not.
We can not be seen to be contradictory to our stated positions , ie that all citizens of Cyprus are citizens of the ROC and all are entitled to state benefits. The EU endorses our position , our government must maintain its legal commitments to all of its citizens.
The day will come when there won't be any TCs to offer benefits to.
It will also be easier for the RoC to declare war against Turkey with the assistance of other nations, to liberate the occupied territories.
More spending on the CNG, please Mr President (shithead!).
I cant believe I read that !!
By the way , which nation or nations do you think will join the ROC in declaring war against Turkey .
Any guesstimates as to how long this war might last and how many deaths can we reasonably expect , also any thoughts on what will happen to the remaining T/Cs , presumably they will have to be eliminated !!
ps. I opposed the election of Mr Christophias on the grounds of his communist connections and ideals taking into account that the West will not look too kindly on a European Communist President . However I accepted the will of the people and I'm right behind the legally elected President of the ROC irrespective of his political ideologies.
The President alone can negotiate with his team but the President and his team will have to obtain the authority of the people in order to endorse any likely agreements.
I would recommend that due respect is offered to the President of the ROC , calling him shithead is really very degrading.
