Here's another one in the mould of VP ... this verywetty scum!

Oracle, this VW person, I thought was a GC based on this comment:

http://www.cyprus-forum.com/viewtopic.p ... 462#521462

But, now I am not so sure.

VW, please state your position GC or TC??

"You get the politicians you deserve" is a very much used comment in the West....I don't know why it annoyed Oracle so much...

Why do you need to know the ethnicity of VW,B25..???Can't you just judge him on his ideas????

Because in this context, he implied Papadopoulos deserved this desecration.

Not if the widespread and systematic desecration of Christian graves in the north is anything to go by.

You see BirKibrisli, my concern is that your "average TC", as represented by Viewpoint, still can't help themselves going too far; taking mindless, base, destructive actions, with the sole aim of causing ill will.

And then, instead of apologising when people have indeed been upset, your "average TC" simply reverts to the tried and tested argument:

"See? We can't live together. We can't trust each other. Partition is the only answer. The 'TRNC' is our safe haven."

I'm fed up of it and want the "average TC" exposed for the rabble-rouser that he really is.

Wow, and there's me thinking body snatching was a thing of the past, apparently not in Cyprus. Whatever the reason for this crime, it's disgraceful and hugely disrespectful and my sympathies go out to his family, hopefully the police will find his body and return it to where it belongs. And if it is, as some people have suggested, a stunt to encourage more division then let’s hope people don't take the bait...

It would be better if some people showed some more respect to the democratically elected President of Cyprus while he was alive, rather than now pretend that they care of what happened to his lifeless body.

Also I don't see why Viewpoint (or anybody else) should hide now his true emotions. Personally I don't like people who pretend and are fake.

Sure, you can't curb your base emotions or urges. You can try and check yourself before manifesting them, however, if you know this will upset or inflame others needlessly. That's not being fake. That's showing a degree of empathy, respect and humanity. On an island where the desecration of graves has caused such upset, it's not a lot to ask.

We upset each other constantly in here, this is the norm rather than the exception.

Personally after I die I really couldn't care less what they do with my body. Maybe they could use it to feet some hungry animals, it would be of better use than to just rot under the ground.

Anyway, I am atheist so I guess I can not understand how religious people feel about such things.

That's fair enough if we're venting spleen... but if we're genuinely trying to make progress, sometimes unacceptable behaviour might be worth challenging.

I feel the same way and carry a donor card, in case part of me might help keep someone else live. (Although maybe not my heart, as it's broken).

Me too, near as damn it, but I try and empathise with those who aren't.

I couldn't agree more. I didnt vote for Christofias nor do i agree with a lot of his policies yet i consider him my President and would never spout hatred against him. For those who thought there would be infighting amongst the GCs because of this...it didnt happen. Sorry, f_ckers.

All i currently see in the RoC is unity with both ends of political spectrum expressing outrage at this despicable act. We are now speaking with one voice.
