We call that "arse licking" NOT "boot licking" on this part of the island..

We call it arse licking in Australia as well.

So now I know why Australia rejected GR!

That should be either “Boot licking” or "Arse kissing".

Here in USA, it's called Ass-Kissing, or brown-nosing.
