The Mouflon are recovering because the RoC has taken extreme measures to help their numbers increase and they are seen more frequently, than I can ever recall in the past.

The best news would be if the whole of the north is depopulated of Turks ... then the indigenous wildlife can return to its natural habitat!

I was led to believe the natural habitat was the Troodos - even before the strife of 1974. I think the Mouflon are seeking refuge from the inhabitants and the prying eyes in the RoC.

That depends on numbers. They will go wherever goats go if there were enough of them.

If the buffer zone is safe for our dear Mouflon, why is it not for bipeds. I think your precious 'goats' are spies

Ah another pop at the hated british oh scottish married one? So you are old enough to have witnessed this then ???
Firstly that was a long time ago, its not the british who want to build on it now is it?
and the last time i was there it was littered with thousands of 12 bore cases.
and secondly Salisbury plain in the hated UK has been a training area for a hundred years, but is recognised as being home to the biggest diverse population of flora and fauna in southern England including several rare species such as the natterjack toad that is protected within the area by a special unit.
You could also ask your husband about the otterburn training area too. :)
I refer you to the Natura sites and the latest EU upcoming court cases....
