Erdogan - withdrawal of troops from Cyprus - out of question

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

I meant is there a word for compromise?

No. A pragmatist is a person who believes in compromise. Is there a Greek word for that?

No, a pragmatist is someone who tends to set aside their ideals in order to pursue lesser, more achievable objectives, like, say, buying cheap, stolen property.

Or in this case lesser, more achievable objectives like meeting people half way.

OK, how's this for compromise? Turkey stops interfering in Cyprus, Cyprus stops interfering with Turkey's EU accession.

No one will do that Palio....an incentive is needed and I wonder what that incentive might be? :?

That's already written and guaranteed by the EU. As soon as Turkey withdraws troops and influence from Cyprus, ... then Turkey has no other obstacles (other than their own mind-set).

yes but nothing will give turkey the incentive to stop demanding two states on our island and to stop destrying anything tc...

i doubt anything will stop them.. the only thing we have is stopping them to join eu and help of other countries to not recognise trnc and to "convince" them to leave...

what do you think turkey would accept to leave cyprus? what they find acceptable is not acceptable to the south and vice versa
