Because I can't see your pc, it is difficult to diagnose what the problem is.

Therefore, I advise you just uninstall Itunes using your uninstall wizard and then reinstall the program from scratch.

But to answer your question, I have not had the same problem as you.

How old is your computer?

To increase speed, download a program called CCleaner.

Then clean out your TEMP files, and fix any registry errors by running the program.

You can download it from here:

http://www.ccleaner.com/download

Also, remember to occasionally de-frag your hard drive and run Clean Disk within your System Tools.

Also make sure you have a minimum of 20% of free space on your hard drive, otherwise your computer will struggle finding program files when booting.

You could also turn off any unnecessary programs which automatically open when you boot up your computer.

Just enter ipconfig in your Start Menu search and hit enter. Then deactivate any programs you don't need to open automatically on boot up. Or you should leave is your anti-virus.

Agree with ccleaner. Excellent program, though I tend to use windows washer for cleaning the computer up. Last time I used windows washer, it cleaned 1.6gb of crap!

i bought my laptop last year

it came with windows vista, one of the drives stopped working and i toke it to a computer shop and i end up puttine new vista ultimate witch sort the problem out, in one year ive changed the windows about 4 times and my pc have 3 different of windows on it.. desk space free about %26 on the windows im using now, when i log of and log on again i have to choose witch windows i wanna log to, xp, ultimate and ultimate sp1.

the xp some how have one hard drive so i dont use it, ultimate have no free desk space so i dont use it also and sp1 works fine, i tried to delete the old windows, and i did but every time i log off and on i founf them again.. that mught explain why my pc is bloody slow and freezes a lot , also when i try to defrag C i cant do that cause it contain the windows im using.!!

i know u might be wondering how my laptop still working !! i`ll take it to a computershop to delete all the windows on it including the one im using and install windows 7 ..

A few weeks.

Ran cleaner last night then windowswasher this morning. Cleaned 31.6MB. Then again, I'm one of those people that takes things a little too far.
Use Windows defender, Spyware doctor and Spybot remover as well as Malwarebytes and NOD32.

Saying that, only Spyware Doctor and NOD32 starts up with the PC, I just enable the others when I want to do a scan before disabling them again.

lol? I dont get how you guys do it. But I run once every 6 months for spyware and I never have any problems. It might find 5-10 but not more. And to add to that I dont use an antivirus.

But then again it all comes how a person uses his computers. Stop with the porn sites

I might download windowswasher and do a test.

I too take things to the extreme.

I have Nod32, use Windows Defender, Spybot Search and Destroy, Malwarebytes, and SpywareBlaster....

We have turned our computers into Fort Knox!
