What do you personally think Expat. (since you made the above threat.)

Would TCs kill GCs for the sake of their false flag?

I think TC's would take serious offense to such an action, and it would more than likely spark an assault. As to killing... well, it depends upon the person taking insult, doesn't it?

If it came to killing, would the killer in your view be guilty of murder under these circumstances?

according to expat in a previous thread he blamed the victim...he called him foolish and his death was caused because of his foolishness...

He purports to defend the TRNC as a legitimate, law-based state yet fails to condemn an extrajudicial killing for an offence which under the TRNC penal code ( http://www.mahkemeler.net/birlestirilmis/f_154.doc ) - article 324 'Wilful damage to property' appears to be applicable to the offence of tearing down a flag - probably carries a maximum penalty of three years' imprisonment or a fine. A law-based state means just that - people are penalised according to the offence they have committed following a fair trial and proceedings are initiated against those guilty of murder, including those responsible for extrajudicial killing. Which is it going to be? Gloating over the murder of a Greek Cypriot youth, or the defence of the TRNC as a legitimate, law-based state? Incidentally, where I wonder does he stand on the practice of dressing up in white robes and stringing up niggers from trees?

Please quote the article of the TRNC penal code (or any other legislation) where provision is made for such an offence.

Yet I bet he would never gloat about this little local Klu Klux Klan pastime, yet is happy to make veiled references taking delight in extrajudicial killings in a place thousands of miles away!

Solomou case was cold blooded, premeditated murder . In-excusable. Stop trying to justify it and condemn it for what it was.

Unless ofcourse you are being helpful to the debate by providing a definition for Crime of Passion.

Looking at the UK Justice system nowadays , anything could happen.

Jail a granny for non-paying of council tax and set murderers free, because someone said 'boo' to them at school, many years ago.

Sorry if this seems cheap but, as one who believes in universal values, I would argue that if somebody can indulge a thinly veiled gloat about one extrajudicial killing then the odium of all extrajudicial killings rubs off on them. How about something closer to home?

STRANGE FRUIT
by DAVID MARGOLICK

Southern trees bear a strange fruit,
Blood on the leaves and blood at the root,
Black body swinging in the Southern breeze,
Strange fruit hanging from the poplar trees.

Pastoral scene of the gallant South,
The bulging eyes and the twisted mouth,
Scent of magnolia sweet and fresh,
And the sudden smell of burning flesh!

Here is a fruit for the crows to pluck,
For the rain to gather, for the wind to suck,
For the sun to rot, for a tree to drop,
Here is a strange and bitter crop.
