Illegal Turkish Cypriot “Universities”
http://www.mfa.gov.cy/mfa/mfa2006.nsf/A ... enDocumentMoreover, these “universities” use as their premises illegally usurped properties belonging to Greek Cypriot forcibly displaced persons, in violation of their rights and without their consent. It should be reminded that the legitimate Greek Cypriot owners of the said properties were forced to flee from their ancestral homes in the wake of the Turkish invasion of 1974 and the military occupation of 36.4 percent of the territory of the Republic of Cyprus and they have been prevented since then to return thereto. The “Eastern Mediterranean University” situated in the occupied city of Ammochostos (Famagusta), the “American University of Cyprus” in Kyrenia, the “European University of Lefke” and the “Cyprus International University” in the occupied part of Nicosia, are such cases of illegal use of Greek Cypriot properties.
That's the one which has opened ....
Maybe someone in authority should be informed about this grave error.

There is a spelling mistake there, it should read: Americunt University.
