Moreover, these “universities” use as their premises illegally usurped properties belonging to Greek Cypriot forcibly displaced persons, in violation of their rights and without their consent. It should be reminded that the legitimate Greek Cypriot owners of the said properties were forced to flee from their ancestral homes in the wake of the Turkish invasion of 1974 and the military occupation of 36.4 percent of the territory of the Republic of Cyprus and they have been prevented since then to return thereto. The “Eastern Mediterranean University” situated in the occupied city of Ammochostos (Famagusta), the “American University of Cyprus” in Kyrenia, the “European University of Lefke” and the “Cyprus International University” in the occupied part of Nicosia, are such cases of illegal use of Greek Cypriot properties.

That's the one which has opened ....

Maybe someone in authority should be informed about this grave error.

Jerry said yesterday that there was no mention in "The Kentish Gazette" of the "dignitaries" who would be attending today. And, there is no mention of this attendance by the Mayor (of Canterbury, Kent ) in the "Civic Diary"

You could do a lot worst than attend a few courses there yourself. Try "How to avoid eoka bullets" course, I did. It does wonders for longevity of life and all that.

Halil, my suggestion was that a person with literary abilities should add to the letter, I'm afraid you score no points. I don't think your writing skills would even merit a "degree" from GAU but there are some very good language schools in Canterbury perhaps you could find a beginners course.
