I sense one of Free Spirit's amazingly hilarious 'jokes' on the subject of Glasgow and virgins therein about to hit the forum again - it's been a week or two since he regaled us with that one (what is it with him and Scottish virgins - he just can't keep off the subject?).
Maybe he just fancies Susan Boyle and can’t come out with it…
How sad to note that there are those with such a diminutive grasp of Islam and it's tenets that they constantly make reference to the subject of 'Virgins' in such a derogatory manner.
According to the numerous conversations I have had with many devout followers of Islam, I can assure those of such small-mindedness, that the 'Promises' upon which they seemingly base their entire knowledge of Islam on is but a figment of their warped imaginations.
Those who have taken up arms (in whatever form) against the unlawful and murderous assaults upon their nations, do so with little regard for 'Rewards' other than that they SERVE their nation and are fully prepared to forfeit their lives in so doing.
The great strengths in their resistance to oppression is vividly apparent in the valiant opposition they have shown in the face of overwhelming odds.
Were the 'Western Forces' gifted with such valour, they would not be receiving the daily defeats they are suffering NOW, nor would there be so much debate on how to make a dignified withdrawal (subsequent to an initial large influx of troops) without losing face.
Unfortunately the 'Face' is already lost and only the humiliation of being seen as the laughing stock of military campaigns remains.
The annals of military history MUST eventually reveal what a shambles the whole scenario was. (IMHO)
Still full of shit aren't you .
Actually miltiades, the reference to those with a 'diminutive grasp' really epitomizes you in more than just matters pertaining to the tenets of Islam.
Such a reference could easily be applied to almost everything you venture to comment on, other than abuse, insult and foul language (of which you undoubtedly have a vast resource at your disposal) more to the shame for a man of your age.
As base as you may consider me to be, 'I' have never had to resort to the action of creating a 'Poll' to determine whether or not 'I' am a 'Traitor' to my nation.
When 'I' was a young chap approaching maturity 'I' (in concert with many of my peers) joined the military cadet forces and expected to serve my country as a soldier upon reaching the appropriate age.
Others (at a similar age in days gone) packed their bags and scurried to the hills at the first whiff of 'Gunsmoke' .
In order to avoid any commitment to their military duty, some, throughout their lives, returned from their hideouts (within the nation that was responsible for the destruction of their own country) periodically BUT, were always careful to ensure that they did not stay too long for fear of being required to enlist.
Such an aversion to 'Gunsmoke' should not have lasted throughout a lifetime but the old adage does state that "A coward dies a thousand times" etc.
As to the 'Poll', I suggest the outcome was predictable, since those who voted in favour of the candidate were (like you) sympathizers with the Turkish cause and therefore rendered the outcome a foregone conclusion.
There is more yet miltiades, I suggest you should curb your tongue a little, lest I feel obliged to offer some more 'Home Truths' which I am sure you would not like.
