I thought Bill's description of people stealing other peoples home was quite accurate. Whats your point?

It is a crazy topic with bankers totally out to protect their own interests.
If the board wants to resign let them. They are only out for their own interests, think how long it would take to replace them? Minutes.

Interesting reading Dan Ariely's book Predictably Irrational, with studies done in India and MIT where sizeable bonuses were not actually shown to improve performance but in actual fact create stresses (caused by the desire to attain the bonus) that actually decreased performance.

If the bank's don't pay them they will go to hedge funds or set up their own businesses. Let them, see how easy it is to come up with the funds banks supply them with, along with the security and investment which banks make to ensure successful performance.

Govt should be tough.

All this talk in large businesses of one team and common goals - banks should walk the walk they talk.

You may find that is a two way street. I don't know of any Brits that suffered financially from buying property in Cyprus. They just moan when they can't get their (multiplied) money back fast enough due to slow processing.
