HI MY BOSS FOUND A BRITISH PASSPORT JUST COMING OUT FROM PAFOS ROUNDABOUT THE OWNER IS MR JOHN ATHERTON DOB 16 9 55 IF YOU ARE OR WHO NOWS HIM PUT HIM IN CONTACT WITH ME MOB NUMBER 97798564 I WILL ONLY GIVE THE PASSPORT TO THE OWNER I LIVE IN LIMASSOL BUT WORK IN PAFOS CAN BE COLLECTED FROM EITHER :D

u must take it to the police or send it to High Comission in Nicosia... you are not allowed to keep this document, its against the law.

well i will hold onto it for couple days see if owner rings for it if not will put it into limassol police head office i have put advert on angloinfo also so if no phone call then will be at police station saturday morning thanks for imformation

If I had lost my passport, the first thing I would do is get in touch with the police and then the embassy. Holding on to it for a couple of days is not helping anyone and could get you into trouble. If the person who lost it is a tourist, then how the hell is he going to find out from the forum about his lost passport. The owner could be leaving the country soon, so do the right thing and take it to the police.

Strongly agree, whats the purpose of holding on to it for a few days?

Is he expecting a reward?

i honestly thought he is expecting something in return !! the poor guy who lost his passport must have reported police by now

very funny its is now in germasogia police station i have handed it it i did not want a reward just thought if the guy lived in pafos i could of taken it to him as i work in pafos but live in limassol anyway handed in now the police said they will trace him :)
