computer freak advice wanted badly :((

im not so good with computers and i have little problem.

im trying to list one of the main company websites "not my company-i wish it was :oops: " into search engines, bless me i know about google :oops: :oops: and google sponser listing web sites in about another 10 search engines for free, so i was trying to do my best and i did put all the info about the web site, and all the tag words and i was done but nothing is easy i got this messege

(( Please cut and paste this section on top of your HTML page in a text editor. You should replace the section from <HTML> to </HEAD> ))

now the problem is i dont know where is that html.. excuse me ppl i sound like a rite ignorant bastard so i need your help,

so where is that html..!!! :shock: :shock:

right at the top.. you see on your internet explorer where it says something like "cyprus:: computer freak advice..." well for this post anyway.. basicallly the tittle of your page.should beon the very top

still didnt get it, im sat at my office googling where the bloody html located and still come up with nothing :(

i know it means copy the post and paste it to your browser ""me think"" but when i do that the text doesnt show up !!!

Click on 'view' and then 'source' and a box will appear with the HTML coding for the page (assuming you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer). The instruction should then make sense if you look carefully at the code.

Perhaps you are not dealing with an .html fıle at all?

An obvious hint, perhaps, but if you are going to start messing about with the HTML code, copy the file first so that if you make a mess of it you still have the original.

Tim i`ve called the bloke who made the web site and told em the problem and he was funny in the phone i felt like he thinks WTF you old bastard :( but he will sort it out, phew
the new generation are great with computers, at least i can google and check my emails :)
