I remember reading that Air Arabia was considering flying to Cyprus.
But I cannot locate the article-does anyone know anything.

It will mean cheap flights from Antipoeans if we fly via Mumbai.

Sorry, but not for this antipodean duckling, unless the cricket is on.

But I could be swayed if they do free upgrades to Business (if they have it)....

Some convicts are just too spoilt.

Even our hand cuffs are fluffy pink ones these days... :lol:

Do you have an opinion on the origin of the term 'Pom'?

I have heard: from pomegranate - because in the Australian sun the English would turn red - but I prefer 'Prisoner of Her Majesty' - sometimes 'Prisoner of Mother England'.

Prisoner of Her Majesty does not make sense because it is the Aussies that refer to the English as poms and not all of them were prisoners even though the vast majority belong in an Aussie detention centre or asylum... :lol:

The English Oxford dictionary supports the notion that the word 'Pom', originates from pomegranate, because when Poms move to Australia, their skin goes bright red, just like a pomegranate does, after they spend 20 minutes in the Aussie sun. :lol:

Which means that the term Pom, could so easily apply to Russian Polar Bears like you Lana... :wink:
