Yes I did, and you say it wasn't so because the coupists, aka the puppets, were Greek.
So, by your logic, Sampson couldn't have been a junta puppet because he was not Greek but Cypriot.
Do you get it now or do you want it posted in Linear A you retard?

So which of... Pattakos, Papadopoulos, Makarezos, Ioannides, and all other Greek protagonists were American citizens?

Kissinger was an American citizen, have you heard of him?

"When the junta took over in 1967 here," Clinton said, "the United States allowed its interests in prosecuting the Cold War to prevail over its interest, I should say its obligation, to support democracy, which was, after all, the cause for which we fought the Cold War. It is important that we acknowledge that."

Because Greece was still an important ally to the US and, with the inevitable collapse of the Junta, the Greek army would no longer be under CIA control

Doesn't follow. The Junta was going to collapse whether the Turks took part of Cyprus or all of it.

The Junta would collapse and the Americans would lose Greece completely if they would had gifted the whole island to Turkey, so they partitioned it instead. Get it now?

What exactly do you want me to prove?

1. That the Greek junta was the official government of Greece for seven whole years?

2. That the coup in Cyprus was funded, instigated, and managed by GREEKS?

3. That the Greek coup overthrew the legitimate government of Cyprus and paved the way for the Turkish invasion?

4. That the Greeks then abandoned the scene once Turkey invaded?

Which of these basic facts is giving you the most trouble?

If you believe this, then you also believe Sampson headed a legitimate/official government representing the GCs when he replaced Makarios!

Official according to the USA, for which Clinton himself apologized as I posted before. Next

Get Real! wrote:2. That the coup in Cyprus was funded, instigated, and managed by GREEKS?

Wrong, it was instigated by Cypriots, and their leader was Sampson. Next

Get Real! wrote:3. That the Greek coup overthrew the legitimate government of Cyprus and paved the way for the Turkish invasion?

The coup was carried out by Sampson, a Cypriot.
If the Junta was Greek because the coupists were Greek, then the coup was Cypriot because the coupist was Cypriot. Next

Get Real! wrote:4. That the Greeks then abandoned the scene once Turkey invaded?

It was the Cypriot coupists that abandoned the scene. Greece in fact sent whatever forces she could to defend Cyprus, despite being under American control

Get Real! wrote:Which of these basic facts is giving you the most trouble?

No facts, no troulbe. Next
