December is upon Us

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

December is upon Us

December is here and Turkey will be asked again to open ports.

Why cant the port issue really be solved thru the offer the ROC gave years ago:

1)Varosia to be returned to its owners(under EU/UN ADMIN)
2)The port of famagusta to be admin by joint GC/TC COMM(UNDER EU/UN GUIDANCE)
3)Turkey opens one or two ports and air corridors.

ADDITIONAL STEPS:

4)ROC allows curtain chapters to open and close.
5)Airport in the North to open under EU supervision

I think it goes a long way for turkeys EU ambitions and helps the T/C "isolation" argument.I also think it would help current negotiotions.

I imagine, boulio, because Turkey (and specifically its military) has never really been interested in resolving the issue by giving up anything.

I agree in general now that the additon have been included but why should Gc be involved in Famagusta port? will we have any involvement in Limasol in return?
