Large numbers of TCs visit the south during the Bayram

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

I'm beginning to wonder if it is a Turkish-imposed isolation. If TCs wanted to reunify and reintegrate would their masters let them?

Hi Iceman. I am confined to bed and getting bored. What else is there to do. I need some entertainment.

Take care.

When you cross south, we ask for no visas and treat you as wanting to move around in your country.

When we cross north, you ask for visas and treat us if we enter and visit a foreign country.

When you visit south, you mostly get served by other Cypriots, be it in shops or in restaurants.

When we cross north, we only meet Turkish settlers in any place we seek service.

When you cross south, you rarely see flags and grotesque statues.

When we cross north, we only see red flags and grotesque Ataturk status everywhere.

This is the difference between us!

You check our id cards and make us wait....

When we cross north, you ask for visas and treat us if we enter and visit a foreign country.

Because according to us it is.
When you visit south, you mostly get served by other Cypriots, be it in shops or in restaurants.

Filipinos Indians, you have 80.000 foreign workers.

When we cross north, we only meet Turkish settlers in any place we seek service.

TRNC residents.
When you cross south, you rarely see flags and grotesque statues.

Big Joke, more Greek flags than there are "RoC" flags.
When we cross north, we only see red flags and grotesque Ataturk status everywhere.

Because we a right under your constitiution.
This is the difference between us!

Are you for real Kifeas, obviously you have never been north.

The TCs that wanted to reunify and reintegrate bcz of various reasons or their self-interests have already done what they wanted and been living in South. Noone stopped them. Those who still have been liveing in North used to wish a solution based on BBF as it was envisaged in Annan Plan. Lately, most of the TCs who used to wish reunification of Cyprus don't want it anymore... what they wanted is 2 completely seperate, sovereign states... not even a confederation they want...

Yeni Düzen estimates that 10,000 Turkish Cypriots crossed over to the south on Saturday (28 November), the second day of the Bayram [religious festival].

I think these TCs are tired of eating lamb again for this Bayram, so they have gone to the south to have some pork for a change with the GCs.!

Or is it that they are "porking" with the GCs in the south.?

Reh Yero, judging by your avatar, please avoid Cyprus during Kurban Bayram FFS otherwise how will we be entertained?

What is there to buy in the north? Unfortunately, the GC's have gotten used to Western decadence and they have a massive choice of where to buy things from and at very competitive prices.

And that is why TC's flock to the south to buy things because they can get a better deal and wider choice. Its nothing to do with supporting the other community but what is best for ones pocket!

Thats a good point well made. But food and drink are as cheap if not cheaper in TRNC, so visitors from RoC could inject some money into the local economy and send a message at the same time by having a meal when visiting.
