Large numbers of TCs visit the south during the Bayram

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Went to jumbo to get a small toy for my son on his nameday today and couldn't get a parking place. From the 250-300 cars there I think only 15 were GC plates. Took one look inside and the counters were 15 thick. Did an about turn and got him some chocolate from the kiosk.

At Bayram time my family always ended up in the Arastas (Near todays buffer zone and bought our toys from the Greeks or Armenians. It was tradition. I see the tradition has not died. Where are the TMT now, with their 'Turkden Turke' (buy from a Turk and sell to a Turk) campaign.

Good riddance of old dogma's.

VP, I have a lot of respect for what you have to say, But do you really expect our GC friends to behave differently? They have been ethnically cleansed from the north and you expect them to behave in a different manner. If you can get angry at their behaiviour in the past, expect the same or even worse.

"Deniz do you see the GCs doing the same in the north? thats the difference between us."

What is there to buy in the north? Unfortunately, the GC's have gotten used to Western decadence and they have a massive choice of where to buy things from and at very competitive prices.

And that is why TC's flock to the south to buy things because they can get a better deal and wider choice. Its nothing to do with supporting the other community but what is best for ones pocket!
