And to think all this time we could have instigated a full on mutiny in the north by offering them a dental plan. :roll:

there has been many incidents of some tcs who do try... but of course not most maybe all.. who knows..

the graffiti the guy wrapped in the flag? and those are ones that made the news.. what about the ones that dident

Turkish Cypriots are not seen as proper Turks as Turkey, and the truth is, We are Cypriots as well as all other Cypriots, wheather Greek, Turkish, Maronite or Armenian. We are all Cypriots and we carry the Passport for evidence. This is what the Cypriots have to look for. Regain their International power as Cypriots of Cyprus. And this is what I believe the Trade Unions in the North are fighting for. Turkey is increasing their pressure on Turkish Cypriots in the North, and stealing their culture and identity. According to Turkey, we are not fully Muslim. So. We have never went to Mosks or prayed. It was never in our culture. No true Turkish Cypriot can tell me that they are 100% Muslim. They do not see religion as important. And the ideology and pressure that Turkey is trying to implement on the Turkish Cypriots in the North is backlashing. Now the Turkish Cypriots are saying a new thing. They are saying that ''we are suffering more from Turkey than we did from the Greeks''. This has created an awareness to where we belong. For a United Federal Cyprus. These actions by the Trade Unions are more of a left-wing movement which wants peace in the island. And this is all linked to the salary movement aswell. It is trying to force the new generation to flee their true country to another. So I believe that the Trade Unions are in the right way and should not give up.
