How can it possibly work?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

It was just a reaction to you feeling the need to start a thread declaring you are Greek Cypriot ... I thought that was unnecessary and preferred if you let your opinions speak for themselves. After all, it's our behaviour which classifies us into groups and not our genes ...

I apologise if I overly offended you :D But, I am enjoying reading your debates although you should really give us your definition of racism and sexism if we are not going to keep going over the sanctity of Monasteries/Nunneries and Male/Female toilets.

I started a thread declaring my backgorund, because this was the usual practice in a greek-turkish forum in which I also take part, and I thought it is useful for you to know where I come from.

I think we can agree that we can't judge someone's ethnic background from his opinions. Every Greek Cypriot has the right to have whatever opinion he wants to have, without this making him more or less Greek Cypriot, or not?

About the offence, don't think about it, I was not offendef by you calling me Turk, since I don't consider being Turk as something negative.

Definitions:
- Racism is discimination according to race, in the strict sense. With a broader meaning, also discrimination according to ethnic or religious group.
- Sexism is discrimination according to sex.

The most important RoC achievement from joining the EU, was an additional re-recognition and reinforcement of the contiguity of Cypriot territory, despite a military occupation!

It is something, but I'm not sure if it proves to be really so important..

I wouldn't worry about such things. A lot of folk here don't beleive that I'm a born-and-bred New Zealander who is also a naturalized United States Citizen. Born in the most beautiful country in the world, and a citizen of the greatest nation in the world....

"STFU" Would that stand for: "See Turkish Flags Unfurled"?
