How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

It is profoundly absurd that she , Turkey , should dismiss at a stroke of a pen the indigenous to Cyprus T/Cs and band them together with the "undesirable" Anatolian mostly settlers. Is Turkey so profoundly naive in not recognizing the tenacity and strong identity of the T/Cs ? Does she think that the international community is blind to what Turkey is endeavouring to achieve in Cyprus which clearly is the annexation of a part of Cyprus , and does she think that the G/Cs and T/Cs will just lay down and capitulate . The time is fast approaching when the liberal minded T/Cs will react not just by demonstrating but by demanding in clear terms that Turkey brings the occupation of the northern part of Cyprus to an end .

I seem to recall , some four years ago , that you posted in a similar fashion ,yet time has proven that Miltiades was not all that wrong. More and more T/Cs are reacting unfavourably to the continued occupation of a part of their island and more and more are braving the consequences by declaring their opposition to the efforts by Turkey to denigrate their very own identity .

Where when?? one demonstartion doth not make a rebellion...you are totally on the wrong track as people in the north realize that there is no hope with the GCs they will cling and bind themselves more and more to Turkey.

Dear Milti,

I was saddened to hear of your loss and hope you got over that day without too much trouble.

Good to see you back!

Don't listen to the venonous person VP, he/she/it just wants partition at any cost. You waste your wise words with it.

All the best and silibitiria.

VP and I have had too many vociferous "debates" over the years. He somehow , understandably so , thinks that he knows a great deal more about the T/Cs and their inspirations than I do ! He is totally pitifully wrong . The fact that I a G/C has intimate knowledge of the mentality that makes a T/C infuriates him ! He now knows that I was not merely a propagandist but a genuine Cypriot that saw all Cypriots as indigenous inhabitants of this wonderful island and true compatriots.
Deniz was the first visitor to come to me on that November the 13th day , after my immediate family . A T/C who shared my sorrow and rushed to come to a fellow Cypriot and offer his condolences and comforting words.

Over the last four years we have heard from many T/Cs , all reiterating the same inspirations. Turkish troops out , one Cyprus one people .

The extremist bigots will not get their way NEVER.

hardly, you need to take a good look at yourself in the mirror. It is you that has a lot to answer for.

You don't like what I say because it doesn't suit your cause to enslave us.

But you will not silence me I will keep telling you where to get off. There are many more like me, don't you worry.

You don't want a solution, you just want Cyprus. Not a dogs chance mate.

No sunshine, I want peace and coexistance between the two communities where every one has a chance to enjoy life without fear of being murdered. With asshole like you around, the more security the better.

I live with TCs in the TRNC 24/7 Miltiades you interact with them in London hardly a comparison to understand what TCs who live here on the island wanr vs those that choose to live abroad. You must understand that TCs have given up on GCs 5 years have passed and its all been downhill, the optimism that was abudent in 2004 has turned to acceptence that GCs have not chnanged and do not want to share...their main aim is to control the whole island with us as just another minority, which we will never become. we feel so strongky that we would rather become part of Turkey than capitulate to GC demands. If GCs do not comprehend that its a BBF with political equality of the 2 states then division will be cemented forever as no will want to work for a solution as both sides will prove the problem is unsolvable. The influx of Turkish mainlanders will continue and we TCs will return to our original roots which dont forget was Turkey and you will have 1 million new generation TCs north of the border...the choice is yours.
