Greece to declare war on Turkey?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Turkey has ZERO reasons for being in Cyprus-EU and any TCs can go back with the Turkish troops and Settlers if they don't like the presence of our sister EU-Forces!

Dont count on the French or Italians the vast majority of their population do not even know where Cyprus is. More marketing is required !

It must normalise its relations with the Republic of Cyprus and of course ... implement the Protocol on the Customs Union vis-a-vis the Republic of Cyprus ... We will judge Turkey based on the actions it has taken or not taken – rigorously and objectively. All the options are on the table and no one should take us for granted," is the latest statement from Greece's (Cypriot born) Deputy Foreign Minister Dimitris Droutsas. (Way-to-go Dimitraki, way-to-go!)

Well, we will judge Greece on the actions it will or will not take – rigorously and objectively.

O Greece, o cradle of western civilisation, how about we see all the options on the table?

Time to put your maternal hold on Cyprus to good use before it is consigned to the dustbin of history. Time to honour fully your commitments to Cyprus and stand up to fascism as you did in 1940. Time to give Turkey an ultimatum.

"If the Government of the Hellenic Republic has not received satisfactory assurances from Turkey, by 25 December 2009, of the withdrawal of its occupying forces from the north of Cyprus, a state of war should exist between Greece and Turkey."

Warmongering by malapapa. Still getting "0" from the IQ test.

Not at all. I am talking about the fulfilment of treaty obligations, through the flexing of some military muscle, which would result n the inevitable withdrawal of Turkey's army from Cyprus, without the need for war.

I am afraid that sooner or later we may reach such a situation !

As for "maternal" help ... Greece has always preferred Cyprus as independent. Even the coupists wanted to impose a CIA-puppet (Sampson) and not dissolve the Republic.

As for giving us help ... well, Greece helped us get into the EU. :D

The rest is up to us ...

It is only recently that Greece prefers Cyprus as Independent and only for political purposes.

I am not a guarantor power which has committed to securing Cyprus's territorial integrity. May I refer you to the Hellenic Republic's Ministry of Defence, who would be responsible for fulfilling Greece's guarantor obligations:
