Afrika demands an explanation from Security Forces Command

f) Sıhhatli olmak ve bedeni bakımdan Polis görevlerine uygun olmak.(Healty , bodily to suit police Work)
g) Boy itibarıyle 1.70 cm'den kısa olmamak. Boy ölçüsünün cm olarak
son iki rakamı ile kilosu arasında 1.75 cm’den yukarı olanlarda 15
kg., 1.75 cm’den kısa olanlarda 10 kg.’dan fazla fark olmayacak.

h) Yapılacak sınavlarda basarılı olmak.(have to pass exams)
i) Karakterine yansıyan herhangi bir suçtan hapis cezasına çarptırılmamıs
olmak,veya affa uğramıs olsalar dahi rüsvet, hırsızlık, dolandırıcılık,
sahtekarlık, irtikap hileli iflas ırza geçme ve benzeri yüz kızartıcı
suçlardan dolayı hüküm giymemis olmak.
j) Bir disiplin suçundan dolayı daha önce kamu görevinden
uzaklastırılmamıs olmak.

he/she shouldn't have any court case from stealing , blackmaling , crooking , smuggle , etc...etc...

TC name for them on the job is kopek (dog) not pig :wink:

TC name for them on the job is kopek (dog) not pig :wink:


In Los Angeles, the LAPD throws back the "PIG" moniker by saying that it stands for PRIDE, INTEGRITY, and GUTS! If the TRNC coppers are called "DOG", would that stand for "Dimwits On Guard"?... :D

I'm not really sure... at our age (40+) the only police encounter we ever have is the odd speeding ticket once or twice a year!

I'll let DT the younger hooligan inform us… :lol:

Unfortunately, too many countries' police forces are little more (or nothing less than) uniformed criminals. But, I'll moderate the nicknames to the traditional ones if you like: PC Plod, Flatfoot, Copper, Bobby, Bluebottle, Fuzz... :)

You must have been watching too many Turkish movies at Bayrak then..
No one in Cyprus call them "aynasiz"
