Late Turkish Cypriot politicians Ozker Ozgur and Salih Miroglu have been remembered yesterday on the 4th anniversary of their deaths.
Ozker Ozgur who served as the Leader of the Republican Turkish Party for a long time and one of the founders of the United Cyprus Party was remembered with two different ceremonies.
The first ceremony was held by the United Cyprus Party where one minute silence observed and speeches were delivered.
The second ceremony was held by the side of his grave at the Lefkosa cemetery.
Ozgur died at the age of 65 from cancer in 2005.
Meanwhile, Salih Miroglu, the National Unity Party Girne MP, was also remembered by the side of his grave on the 4th anniversary of his death.
Miroglu who died from a heart attack in 2005 served as Minister of Youth and Sports and Minister of Public Works and Transportation.
