Did you really eat a Turkish sucuk (salami) ?

I hope it wasn't too painful

Considering you're a Turkish female, perhaps you can tell us whether it was painful or not. I'm guessing with the quantities you've consumed you've probably adapted and don't feel so much anymore.

Just remembered… as part of my initiation ceremony at a Green line camp/outpost (early eighties), I had to eat a small part of a lizard that was charred with a lighter!

Growing up in the UK, TC butcher shops would sell liver with the lungs attached to it, which they called it "white liver" which would be cut to pieces and cooked along with the liver. As you can imagine, lungs did not cook and taste the same as liver and often it was left on the side of the plate due to it's soft texture and all the tubes that run through them. Horrible shit to give to a kid to eat.! Was able to deal with sheep's head better than "white liver".!
