Hey GR don't you dare put Kikapu in the same boat as Bananiot.

Kikapu does not demand a solution where human and democratic rights are violated nor the rule of law is shat upon. He doesn't demand higher gains for the GCs over his own TC people, but wants what fair with in the law for all. Thats why the TCs don't like him, because he says it as it is and they want gains at our lossess.

On the other hand Bananiot wants his people to capitulate all to the benefit of the TC/Turks, losing us all our rights and handing over the country to foreign invaders. He would rather see us as slaves to Turkey than free and as we are.

1x kikapu is worth a million Bananiots so please don't insult him by tarring him with the same brush as Bananiot.

If there were a few more like Kiks, THEN we could have a solution, any more of Bananiots and we will have the 60's all over again.

Hey, Mitchell... GR believes in a single Cypriot state not under the influence of any other country. I respect him for holding to that ideal, though I don't think that there is any realistic chance of his vision happening.

If you cannot understand what I am saying then you are just playing stupid because you do not want to accept that people with a different approach can easily obtain what you can never obtain due to your narrow and warped vision of TCs..

Well put VP. We need more Bananiots than Pratisi if we are ever to live in a 'unified state. The likes of Pratisi are likely to unbalance any settlement reached.

Yes Downiz. An unfair, undemocratic, racist settlement, based on ethnic cleansing and racist discriminations can work with people like Bananiot but not with people like me.

I do not mind any democratic solution. What I am addressing here like VP is the concerns of TCs. Whereas I will accept what is on offer, you have to address yourself to many other TCs who are full of mistrust with 'majority rule'. In no way do I support any undemocratic settlement, but what will you do to calm the fears of your fellow TCs? Your stance is not helpful at all.

Well said Deniz.

Why are you shocked?

For some reason I was under the impression you disagreed with some of Bananiots comments. Agreeing with me changes that 'faulty' impression I had. Thats all.

I still do not believe in partition; Maybe, there is a slim chance that we avoid this. Thats where we need sensible, logical and damn clever politicians to sort out the mess. This will take plenty 'give and take' of sorts.

Not long till another 'bloody NOEL' anniversary.

Let us pray.

If you look back to when I first joined, I expressed the view that in the future, we may well have the ideal, one man one vote and all that, but to start with what is discussed currently is a good idea to take us forward, with a view that when there is trust in both sides, then we can truly unite as one country.
I call this practical solution. Not perfect but eventually it will be.

...But first, the wings of 'The School of Pratis' must be clipped. More moderates like Bananiot is the only solution. We need to hear more of these voices and have more trust, but what chance is there?

"if you didn't like it you shouldn't have signed it". Does this remind you of anything? Sorry mate, but we are not going to fall into that trap again. Once you legitimatize your gains on our expense you would never give up (voluntarily) even a single one of those gains.

Trust means mutual respect. Legalizing ethnic cleansing and human rights violations not only will not create trust but it is the recipe for more hate and problems.

Its a pity, you still do not see what I stand for. Never mind. Talking to you is a waste of time.

It doesn't matter what you, personally, stand for. I am explaining to you that what you ask for can not happen.

Do you really think that if TCs are given some unfair privileges on our expense that there is even 1 in a million possibility that they will voluntarily give up that privilege and accept something more fair? In our history the TCs were very often given privileges on our expense. This happened with the 1960 agreements and it was the case during the 300+ years of Ottoman rule. Can you tell me even a single case were TCs voluntarily gave up even a single privilege that was granted to them?

The way you see Bananiot as a defeatist, its the same way some TCs see Kikapu.

Deniz, you are just another Yfred, you completely ignored what I had said and responded with irrelevent postings.

Let me tell you again see if it will sink in this time.

Bananiot = give away Cyprus to Turkey, all GCs to be slaves.

Kikapu = rule of law for all all rights protected.

Take your pick old man.

Heh, this reminds me of those fat ugly rednecks in America during the elections that would hold up signs saying "GOD HATES FAGS" and "OBAMA IS A SOCIALIST THAT WANTS TO DESTROY AMERICA"

We made the swap ages ago; you take Bananiot and we'll take Kikapu! Other than that the war continues...

Now listen here Kickapoo, your game is up.
One doth protest and protect another too much me thinks.
BTW we are not giving you up. We need you so the future generations can learn how not to be.
