Erdogan Asked QUINTET MEETING BETWEEN ALL PARTIES IN CYPRUS

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Whoever is brought to bear, Int Conf of Jurists, how are they made up how is their impartiality going to go? ECJ ruling on a one sided benefit has done nothing but add to negative sentiment from TC side.

Fact is everyone has heard it all before, there is no right answer - people will have to bend and it is only right for them to do so given everyone contributed to the farse.

The hoo ha about the Orams shows the GC side is keen to address things on a piece meal basis, so what about piece meal set up a property commission in the south. Come back to hypocracy.

We all know that no one knows as much as we do about Cyprus so why don't we get on and deal with it.

What a pitiful attempt by a carpetbagger to “reason” Greek Cypriots out of their rightful properties!

Dude, just pack your bags and run while you can because you haven’t got the time or even the skill to convince 185,000 refugees out of their Human Rights with your 2-cent poppycock! Image

This approach sounds good.. but I don't really have a claim.. I own a few plots of land and a couple of houses in the occupied area that are currently being used by thieves under protection by the Turkish army criminals.. When are they moving out then?

Have you made an application to the Property Commission? Perhaps you can get your property back and move to the North, or compensation if you don't want to live there etc.

Tony, there are thousands of Turks that want their property back, or, as many surveys have found most would rather live in their current local setting (something to do with psychology) and be recompensed. Same as opinion in the South that people would rather not be uprooted from their homes once again.

It does cut both ways, out of curiosity, do you see the GCs that live in TCs houses and lands as thieves and if not why not, they are two sides of the same coin. The sooner people can accept the realities the sooner the healing can begin.

Of the 400 applications lodged with the TRNC property commission 80 have been concluded through friendly settlements, around 40GBP paid out. A couple agreed with exchange and compensation, more have been resolved by combo of restitution and compensation. In one case a decision from restitution after the Cyprus issue resolved and another for partial restitution.

No question it's not perfect, but when you consider the thousands of applications to EU courts with only a couple of resolutions vs hundreds of applications vs scores of resolutions one could say progress is being made to alleviate the frustration of GCs "to some level."

Every sensible person (a minorty some would say) know eventually this will be the method for comprehensive settlement as it is both inconceivable and impractical psycologically for the transference of 100s of 1000s of people.

You scare a Lurucadi? Get stuffed, I was going to say you'll get your balls chewed up, but I don't have my dog no more. So, I'll instead cut your nuts and chop off the end and make you into a little pointless Turkui.
