Looks like another warning signal. It would be interesting to see if Abkhazia recognized TRNC. Given that Russia, Nicaragua, South Ossetia, Transdnistra, and Venezuela recognize Abkhazia, it would make for an interesting scenario...

Abkhazia will not get into UN because USA, UK, and France would almost certainly veto the move (and China would probably follow suit). Also, If the President of Abkhazia is giving such positive statments to Ms. Talat, it means - at the very least - that Abkhazia is keeping its options only. In any case, Abkhazia recognizes Transdnistra, which is a non-UN recognized entity, so in a sense, Abkhazia has already crossed that rubicon...
