Weather/Best Place to Stay

Postby waldock » Mon Nov 16, 2009 9:03 pm

Hi All,

This is my first post. :D

My sister-in-law is going to get married in Cyprus. She has 95% decided on Paphos.

I have three questions really;

1. What part of Paphos is best to stay in? :?:

2. Whats the weather like in May & June? :?:

3. Does anyone know of any good websites to book a villa through? :?:

Thank You in advance :D

Everyone will have their own idea of where is best to stay. I don't like Paphos much at all, but I quite like Latchi and Polis close by.

The weather in May and June should be glorious.

Plenty of villas available to rent at the moment. You can google it or someone here might even offer you theirs!

You could try ownersdirect.com rather than going through a letting agency. Lots of visitors are finding all in holidays much cheaper than paying for flights and accommodation separately. Some of them even throw in a few days' car hire.

Some villa owners too advertise the use of a car with the villa.

Check out Aphrodite Hills midway between Paphos and Pissouri.

Yes very nice there too. But it will depend on what is wanted from a holiday. If you want widescreen TV football coverage, all day fry ups, bar street, karaoke and happy hours - Paphos is just right!

Try this for villas: http://www.rentcyprusvillas.com/ . May / June weather will be perfect! Best part of Paphos district is Latchi. But you will have to drive for more than 30 minutes to get to Paphos town!
