LOL you delete your partitions and then formatted the whole disk. Thats how you lost your files ^.^

Epic mistake by most people

Nah!! i just formated the C, i didnt thought i`ll have truople doing it, i did it before many times! but every thing went wrong, now i have something funny to tel you, you know some times when windows shut down suddenly, you get a message start windows normaly and you pres on that and system restart and work fine huh! ok when i restarted my lap top i got

-start windows normaly
-windows vista ultimate
-windows vista p1

i have no idea where sp1 come from, i know its still ltimate and i dont wanna sound stupid but my windows dvd didnt have anything to do with sp1!! so i clicked start with ultimate sp1 and guess what happen ???

i found my partions, i found every thing is the same!! really dont know how but seems like my laptop now works with 2 vista ultimate! one of them with one partion C and the other with all partions i made before and all my files..

!!!!!!!!!!!!!! who am i to try to understand it lol im just happy i didnt lose my stuff and laptop s working

Ok listen up as my friend paliometoxo said get another storage device put all your pictures videos personal stuff there. now thats the first step.

The second is download Windows 7 copy it on a dvd.

Format your whole hardisk and install that OS. Your laptop will fly like the eagle trying to catch its pray from the sky. Not the turtle chasing the rabbit in windows vista.

Drivers will be installed by themselves most of them and you will just need your audio drivers most probably but i doubt it.

how can i download windows 7 !!! never heard of it anyway but my laptop lately is so slow! i end up checkin my emails, etc from my phone cause its blood draining waiting web page to open. x

SP1 is your support pack. You should be on SP2 by now. Its a free download. It helps run your Windows.

SP1 is your support pack. You should be on SP2 by now. Its a free download. It helps run your Windows.

deniz you so sweet it wasnt the pics i was worried to lose! i can take new pics every day, i recorded the birth of my little sister, my other sister wedding and vids of places i like back home, and most important vid of my 1st love, when i wanna bring him back to life i watch the vids but im so happy i didnt lose anything witch teach me a lesson, dont mess with your computer

Deniz my friend you are either confusing vista for xp (whichi has 3 service packs out already) or there's a vista sp2 of which I have not yet heard of. In any case pm me and I'll install win xp on your pc which more user friendly and doesn't take up so many recources and restore your stuff

When I go home I will check; I know my laptop is XP and Vista ready with SP2. Thats all. I will learn from Emma and not 'mess with my laptop.

Guys seriously windows XP? Plzzzzzz no comment. Windows 7 cannot be compared to any other OS its like the best that ever came out.

Fig Head do you know by any chance your laptop specification? How much memory Ram you have?
