Today (Monday) is the last journey of our fellow forumer John Miltiades' dear wife Iris.

A fellow forumer had asked me to say a prayer on his behalf at the funeral. Sadly I am unable to travel and be with my dear friend.

I have, instead posted two clips, which I hope will go down well.
One in English - the Lords Prayer; the other Kyrie Eleison - Greek ofcourse.

Rest in Peace Iris.

Fourth attempt failed. So entered separately.

For Iris.

Here's an Armenia version of Kyrie Eleison.
May Iris rest in peace.

We went along to the funeral today to say goodbye to Iris and to support Milti and his family on this mournful day.

Today went as only these days can. Milti and his family were noticeably and understandably upset during the service (sorry, it was all in Greek).
Milti did however say his own goodbye to Iris (in English) and it was very moving - you could feel the love. Such a sorrowful day. Dear Iris, may you rest in peace.

Milti also asked me to say thank you to Kafenes and Bananiot/and wife for being at the funeral.
