What would you sacrifice for a solution?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

As for the sacrifice issue, why sacrifice anything for a solution? Who came up with that notion?

Either what they offered to us was not a solution or we are all so irrational we didn't want our problems solved  Annan plan didn't solve my problems. Did it solve the problem of anybody in here? Oh, yes, I forgot. It solved the problem of the TURKS! So am I supposed to make sacrifices so Turks can solve their problem? ... let me think about it .... erm ... NO!

The article here ( http://www.turkishpress.com/news.asp?id=346616 ) should be clear enough as to what Turkey is willing to sacrifice on the Cyprus problem.

That was the only weapon the GCs had and it seems it's melting in the heat they generated like the ice caps. Shame.

I don’t consider that the current talks will lead to partition. If anything with trust building up offer the next few years it may lead to full unification, but it will be a decision our children will make.
You cannot force on them a full unification now as there is too much mistrust between the two communities.
