I wonder how hard some of the neo-fascist Brits who have taken up residence in the Paphos district are trying to intergrate with their adopted country. I had Cyprus village bread, halloumi cheese and olives for breakfast this morning. What did they have?

I had English Breakfast, PG Tips Tea while watching Eastenders on my SKY satelite TV, outside on my balcony with my sandals and white socks on, with my St George's flag hung across my balcony rails, complaining how expensive everything is, why I can't be cremated in Cyprus and why the shop assitant at the local supermarket doesn't speak english.

You are being sarcastic, I know, but this is precisely my point. British immigrants to Cyprus are creating little Britains in places like Pissouri and Peyia, just as first generation Cypriot immigrants once created a little Cyprus along Green Lanes in Harringay or Pakistanis have done in certain mill towns in the north of England. Is it not highly hypocritical for such people, who themseleves make not the slightest effort to learn Greek let alone Cypriot Greek and integrate into local society here, to criticise others for failing to make any affort to integrate into their adopted country?

The Greeks, Italians, Irish all integrated into UK society, but still kept their traditions. But most importantly they did not try to impose their culture on to their adopted country, which the muslims seem to do everywhere they go.

Sarcastic, yes. But right on the money for a description of a lot of ex pat Brits living in Cyprus (or Spain, or Portugal for that matter).

The same the world over !
I remember twenty odd years ago working in Hua Hin Thailand, there was a 200 strong Aussi ex pat community. BBQ on Friday, drinking all day Sat and cricket on the beach on Sunday, and no intention of mixing with any locals.

A Victor Meldrewish neighbour of mine (I only have 2 Brit neighbours and he is one of them - Vic Meldrew minus the humour) refers to anyone who isn't Cypriot as an 'immigrant'! When I pointed out to him that we were also immigrants to Cyprus, he just muttered 'oh you know what I mean' lol!

Theres nowt as funny as folk ...springs to mind :) Whilst on my travels , have observed quite a few of my own nationality behave in a superiour , aroggant manner . Is it inbred with their family upbringing ? Was chatting to an ex pat in Cyp , and was exchanging travel memories .... he served in the Army for many years, stationed in the region where i had also lived. So as i hardly use the language anymore i assumed he would be able to hold a conversation ...haha silly me started chatting in the dialect , he swiftly informed me that he had not aquired the language at all ! i see at as such a waste ... Theres nowt as funny as Folk !!!

I have no sympathy with the BNP.

But, the Brits did come and force upon us a Constitution which gave nearly half our country's power to a bunch of invaders similar to the ones they are objecting to, under their very own noses, now.

So, "Nemesis" is all I can say; and unless they help us get rid of our un-integrated belligerent "own-state"-demanding invaders; we ain't gonna help/sympathise with their problem! So there!

Thats why the Welsh and Scottish should go it alone, most Anglos are only interested in making money, it is their God. They also are the biggest Turkophiles! As for the BNP they have had a Turk  don't know if hes still their. And theirs that little shit Arthur Kemp who is the biggest Greek hater. Anglos have no problem using non Whites against other Europeans ie. letting loose Negroes against Germans and Italians and Turks against Greeks and Serbs.

More ignorant, racist garbage.

Couldn't possibly agree more. I wish the Scots and Welsh would go it alone and so that the English taxpayer wouldn't have to pay them such huge subsidies as they do - something like 13 Billion a year - take away the tax earned from north sea fuel in scottish waters -7 billion leaves about the taxpayers a bill of about 5. something billion. Considering that of the population of the UK just over 84% are English you can see where the majority of the burdon for these subsidies lies!!
Trouble is they couldn't afford to go it alone as they could not support their economy without the subsidies. Those who think they can are foolish in the extreme!!

Population of the UK just fractionally under 61 million
3 million Welsh
5 million Scottish
2 million Northern Irish
That leaves approx 51 million English
Just a few facts for you to chew on 8)
